New NSIT Announcements Page Launches
Networking Services and Information Technologies (NSIT) is happy to announce the NSIT Announcements site.
New Proxy for Restricted Websites Allows Easier Access
NSIT is changing the proxy system that allows off-campus users to connect to restricted websites, such as OED Online and JSTOR.
Changes for Email Addresses
Anyone with a CNetID may now add up to five more email alias addresses to their email accounts. Additionally, the maximum length of the CNetID and aliases has increased to 16 characters; and, the maximum length of the CNet password has increased to 16 characters.
NSIT Local and Long Distance Per-Minute Phone Rates Reduced as of July 2006
As a result of successful negotiations with local and long-distance carriers, NSIT has significantly reduced the cost of all domestic and international telephone calls.
