Sign Up to Receive NSIT News & Tips
Networking Services and Information Technologies (NSIT) is happy to announce the NSIT Announcements site. To learn about all of the latest events concerning the technical side of learning and working at the University, just visit http://nsit.uchicago.edu/announcements/. This page will be consistently updated for your convenience, and will cover as many topics as possible. The most current announcements are listed on the welcome page; to access past announcements simply click on “Past Announcements” in the left menu.
As of September 25th, it will be possible for you to receive the latest information via RSS or “Really Simple Syndication,” which delivers news directly to the reader of your choice (see https://feeds.uchicago.edu/rss.shtml for more information about RSS). If you do not want to use RSS, you can also sign up for the NSIT announcements mailing list to receive all announcements directly in your email box.
In addition to the announcements site, which focuses on new and improved services, we have added RSS to the NSIT and Facilities traffic light pages which are linked from http://www.uchicago.edu. These traffic lights inform you about problems or outages in critical services. We will send additional information about RSS and easy ways to sign up to receive information automatically in the near future.
