Join the UChicago Network Wherever You Are
Do you need to work at home, on the road, or while abroad? Do you need to access file shares or other restricted information from off campus? The Chicago Virtual Private Network (VPN) can help you. The VPN is a tool that essentially extends the University network to wherever you are working. The VPN provides a secure way to transmit sensitive information via the internet and gives you the freedom to access University of Chicago network resources, like campus file shares, from anywhere you happen to be.
For more information or to start using the VPN, visit NSIT's VPN page, select Windows, Mac, or Linux*, and then follow the instructions.
*The University does not support the Linux VPN, so 4-TECH will not be able to provide assistance with Linux VPN problems.
