Looking for the NSIT Traffic Light?

The link to the NSIT status announcements, and the similar one for Facilities, previously found by clicking on the traffic light on the University homepage, has moved. The University homepage no longer displays the NSIT traffic light icon. Instead, to keep up-to-date about the status of NSIT's work to resolve technology-related issues around campus, click on the "Campus Notices" link on the bottom of the University homepage.

The link will direct you to the latest news about NSIT and Facilities system status. You can also view technology updates by clicking on the traffic light icon displayed in the "System Status" box on the right side of NSIT's homepage at http://nsit.uchicago.edu/.

NSIT's traffic light is a feature that NSIT updates whenever the department has discovered or resolved a technology issue that affects the broader University community. These issues can include downed servers, cMail glitches or planned maintenance to the University network. By visiting the NSIT traffic light page, you can get real-time updates and find out when a service is up and running again.

The easiest way to get the latest information on NSIT systems is to subscribe to our RSS feed by clicking on the gray RSS logo in the upper right corner of the "Campus Notices" page. For more information about RSS and how to subscribe, visit the University of Chicago's RSS Feeds page.
