NSIT's Account Closure Policy
Your CNetID and password provide access to various NSIT-administered services including WebShare, cMail, and Chalk, and also to some non-NSIT related accounts and services in various University departments. NSIT has implemented new procedures that phase out your access to these services over a 45-day period beginning when your eligibility for them has ended. Alumni will remain eligible to keep their CNetIDs, but they will no longer have access to everything they had access to as a student at the University.
NSIT will provide sufficient notice of impending closure of account access in order to provide you with adequate time to retrieve any email messages, files, or other important data stored on your accounts, or to deal with other accounts that may require your attention before NSIT permanently removes access.
