Daylight Saving Time Ends November 2
Daylight Saving Time (DST) ends November 2. NSIT would like to remind you that Daylight Saving Time could cause your electronic calendar to shift, so it is a good idea to check that your calendar has accounted for DST and not shifted your appointments by an hour.
NSIT has found that recurring appointments are generally the most susceptible to time shifts, so please be sure that between October 26 (the old DST end date) and November 2 none of your recurring meetings are off by an hour.
If recurring appointments on your calendar have shifted during this period, and you are the meeting organizer, software on your computer or handheld device most likely needs updating. Please coordinate with your local IT support staff for the best resolution advice. A list of contacts for local IT support is available here (http://nsit.uchicago.edu/assistance/divisioncontacts/).
