Visit the ID & Privileges Office for IDs, Tickets, and More
You may know that the ID & Privileges Office (IPO) is where you go to get your Chicago Card or a guest pass for the library. But did you know that IPO provides many other services that you can use?
You can get an International Student Identity Card (ISIC) or an International Teacher Identity Card (ITIC) from IPO. These cards are useful for international travel. Visit the ISIC website for more information about both types of cards.
If you need a passport photo, IPO can take those as well. The pictures are appropriate for use as passport photos, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services applications, graduate program applications, standardized tests, and other documents where a photo is required.
IPO also sells tickets for CTA buses and trains and for the Omega Shuttle, which provides transportation to Midway and O'Hare Airports.
Make sure you're taking advantage of all the services that IPO offers. We're located in the lobby of Joseph Regenstein Library. Our regular hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
