Use Identity Finder to Prevent Identity Theft

Did you know that you can use Identity Finder to protect sensitive information on your computer? Identity Finder can search your computer for sensitive information and provide tools to protect or securely dispose of the information. We recommend that you use Identity Finder to search for social security numbers, passwords, and credit card numbers saved on your computer so you can help keep identities safe from theft. Identity Finder is only available for Windows; we do not have a solution for Mac OS X at this time.

If you would like to download Identity Finder, please use one of the download files below. The first download file is for University-owned computers, which can only be used by University faculty and staff who are on the campus network. The second download file is available for Students, Faculty, and University Staff for personally-owned computers. You must provide your CNetID and password to use either software download. For instructions on how to use Identity Finder, visit our Documentation page.
