Account Transition for Graduating Students

Are you wondering what happens to your email after graduation? NSIT uses a multi-step transition process to allow you time to retrieve important emails and files.

After you graduate, you will retain your account access for a grace period of two quarters. After the grace period, a 45-day transition period begins, with several email reminders that your account will close.

Even after your account has been transitioned, you can forward your @uchicago.edu email to another email address. You'll also be able to access cMore for transcripts and use the University wireless network.
