Find the Software You Need
At the University of Chicago, you can find most of the software you need for University-related work free of charge or at discounted rates. Whether you simply want to have access to software applications like Microsoft Office or the Adobe Creative Suite, or install software on your personal computer, NSIT offers several options that will fulfill your computing needs.
NSIT has developed a software tip sheet that shows you how to navigate the various options for obtaining software for academic or personal use. These options include visiting one of the many USITE computers around campus, purchasing a license that allows you to run software on your computer, or outright purchasing your own copy of a software program. A wide range of software packages are available, including word processing, statistical analysis, creative software programs, and many more.
