Don't Miss a Beat with RSS Feeds

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) provides users with frequently updated content such as blog entries, news headlines, and podcasts in one location. An RSS document (which is called a "feed," "web feed," or "channel") contains either a summary of the content or the full text from the associated website. This content is published in an RSS reader specifically designed to read these feeds, giving you the ability to see updates to these websites almost instantly and all in one place.

RSS makes it possible for you to easily keep up with websites. You can browse, read, and delete the web content just like email.

Many sites at the University of Chicago offer RSS feeds to which you can subscribe, including The University of Chicago Press, Campuswide Events, and even NSIT announcements. See https://feeds.uchicago.edu for a consolidated view of the University of Chicago's RSS offerings.

For more information on how to configure an RSS aggregator, please visit https://feeds.uchicago.edu/what-is-rss.shtml.
