Central Servers & Mainframes is responsible for

• Configuration and operation of the University’s central secure machine room,
• Selection, implementation, management, and operation of the University’s mainframe computers and related equipment and systems,
• Operation and management of servers and related equipment located in the University’s central machine room,
• Configuration, operation, and maintenance of operating systems and related shared applications including central backups, and
• Technical and programming support to administrative and other departments using these central facilities.
