On Campus
Connectivity in campus areas requires a working jack on the proper subnet and an IP address. If a jack doesn't exist, installation can be arranged by phone at 773.702.9100 or by e-mail to 29100@uchicago.edu. If the jack is physically present but not attached to our network, use the Network Jack Activation Request Form to request activation of the jack. If your area is not served by DHCP, you can use our Host Registration Forms to register your computer with an IP address.
For transient, low-bandwidth use, the campus network can be accessed wirelessly in most areas as described in our Wireless on Campus document.
