VPN Client Configuration
Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client
The VPN (virtual private network) allows University community members access to restricted services from off campus. Follow these directions to set up a VPN connection to the UChicago network. Please note that if you are simply trying to access restricted web pages, we highly recommend using the campus web proxy instead.
NSIT supports VPN usage on Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Mac OS X 10.5 and 10.6. To log onto the VPN, just point your browser to http://cvpn.uchicago.edu/. The first time you connect, the VPN will install some software; you will need administrative privileges on your machine to complete this process.
