TCP/IP Printing on Windows

Printing in the Residence Halls

If you are trying to print in one of the residence halls, please see the Residential Computing how-to section on setting up your computer to print to the dorm printer.

Before you can send documents to a printer for the first time, you may need to add it to your list of printers.

This document assumes that you already know the IP address of the printer you would like to add. If you need to find or set the IP address of the printer, please consult the manual for your printer.

This document also assumes that you have adminstrative privileges. If you are not the administrator of your computer, you will need to talk to a member of your support staff.
