START Team
Support for Technology & Applications for Research & Teaching
An outgrowth of two years of self-study, the START Team combines the expertise of digital media specialists, academic technology consultants, and learning technology specialists into one team dedicated to helping scholars explore what is possible with technology, and then acts as a bridge and guide to the broad range of expertise, resources and services available within Academic Technologies, throughout NSIT and across campus.
The START Team can provide hands-on support, training, and guidance in areas such as using the Chalk learning management system, creating digital audio and video resources, designing scholarly applications, exploring and implementing new technologies, creating podcasts, or engaging in remote collaboration. If you are not sure where to look for academic technology resources, support, or guidance, a good place to begin is with START.
