Administrative Systems
Senior Director for Administrative Systems - David Trevvett
David Trevvett serves as senior team leader across a set of departments responsible for the core business applications and databases of the University of Chicago -- student, financial, HR/Payroll, alumni-development, facilities, research administration, and voice/network information systems, including the data warehouse and associated query/analysis tools, as well as the University's primary Web presence. He has been at the University of Chicago since 1982 in a series of positions ranging from database support and large-scale project management to directorships and strategic planning. In 2001 Trevvett led a successful university-wide planning effort for administrative systems to establish priorities and secure funding for a decade-plus program of systems improvement, now underway.
Prior to coming to Chicago, Trevvett worked for 7 years in Washington D.C. for a small consulting firm, managing statistical surveys for clients such as NSF and NIH and developing computer applications for storing, managing, reporting on, and providing access to data from those surveys.
