Integration
Mission
Integration's mission is to increase the overall level of information technology and policy coherence across the University's IT infrastructure. It is principally an advocacy activity with several foci:
- Activities and tools to better align distributed decision-making through awareness of the range and interdependency of independently-operated technologies.
- Programs targeting the mitigation of barriers to adoption of simpler, shared, or more coordinated technology infrastructures and processes.
- Development or promotion of strategies, designs, processes, or tools directly contributing to achievement of a more coherent operational state.
- Leadership or facilitation of cross-cutting technology needs having no natural operational home.
