External Server Policy
Web Services typically maintains and hosts websites on NSIT servers. However, we can assist and support websites hosted on external servers under the following conditions:
- Web Services can support any static or dynamic code in a website or application (i.e. html, php, coldfusion, css, javascript).
- Web Services can support transactSQL or mysql code if proper access can be arranged. Please contact us to find out more about what conditions are required for access.
- If the website relies on an open source or vendor-supported application, a special contract will need to be created and signed by both parties.
Generally, Web Services is not responsible for the following:
- maintaining or supporting any external database server (i.e. mysql, sql server).
- maintaining or supporting any operating system on an external server (i.e. Linux, Windows).
- maintaining or supporting any hardware on an external server (i.e. virtual machine).
We can offer alternative solutions to the above services, as well. For more information or to talk more about your server needs, please contact us.
