Uncommon Application
https://uncommonapplication.uchicago.edu/
Overview
The Uncommon Application is the unique online application for undergraduate study at the University of Chicago, through which prospective students can request information, apply for admission and financial aid, check credentials, submit midyear grade reports and communicate with admissions counselors.
Achievements
The Uncommmon Application fielded more than 10,000 applications for the 2006-2007 academic year, and it is credited with helping to increase overall applications received as well as making it easier for the Office of College Admissions to communicate with prospective students and their families.

ThickEnvelope
https://thickenvelope.uchicago.edu/
Overview
ThickEnvelope is the admitted students' website for the University of Chicago. After a student receives the happy news of acceptance to the University, they are given access to the ThickEnvelope site, where they can accept their offer of admission, research housing options, register for April visit programs, fill out class enrollment and housing application forms and pay deposits online.
Achievements
ThickEnvelope provides a continuous experience for applicants as they move into the decision-making process - and it influences decisions, as well. The integrated bulletin board in particular has been an overwhelming success; many students cited the bulletin board community as a major factor in their decision to attend the University.
