Pritzker School of Medicine

The Pritzker School of Medicine began the process of redesigning its website in 2005. The former website did not reflect the school's brand identity, was difficult to navigate, and needed to expand to reach prospective students and faculty. Given basic wireframes, a new architecture and proposed design templates, Web Services worked with Pritzker staff to complete the redesign project over the course of a year and two project phases.
Achievements
The redesigned website comprised approximately 1,500 pages. The new site reflects the school's identity and is built with standard XHTML/CSS, improving web accessibility and maintenance. Navigation was greatly improved, allowing students, faculty, and staff to find the information they need.
Feedback to the new site has been overwhelmingly positive. According to one prospective student: "The new website is gorgeous and very user-friendly. I can't wait to start at Pritzker in the fall!"
