Eligibility

The software offered through the University of Chicago-Microsoft Campus Agreement may only be installed by regular Faculty, Staff and Students of the University of Chicago. In general, only those eligible for NSIT network services may install software under this program. Students having "Extended Residence" status (formerly called "Active File") are not eligible to use the software. The above lists are not an exhaustive reference of those not eligible; the intent of these lists are to cover the most common exceptions that will be encountered. Please note that there are other entities, not listed here, that are affiliated with the University of Chicago, but do not meet the basic eligibility criteria set by Microsoft as being "wholly owned and operated by the University."
