USITE Computer Labs & Clusters
NSIT Academic Technologies operates four USITE computer clusters located in the Crerar, Harper, and Regenstein libraries as well as its newest cluster in the Biological Sciences Learning Center (BSLC). These facilities are available to eligible faculty, students, and staff throughout the year and a valid CNetID and CNet password are required to use the workstations.
All USITE clusters host a standard suite of software including Microsoft Office, SSH and SFTP clients, statistical analysis packages, Adobe products, as well as department-sponsored academic applications. Each cluster is equipped with black-and-white pay-for-print kiosks and as an added service, both USITE/Harper and USITE/Crerar feature color laser printing.
Normal hours of operation for the USITE clusters can be found by visiting http://nsit.uchicago.edu/services/usite/hours. Hours are subject to change without notice and may vary during finals week, summer quarter, and interim. Both USITE/BSLC and USITE/Regenstein follow normal building hours and may vary from the posted schedule.
