Welcome!
Cellular phones and cellular services are available to departments for business purposes and individually to faculty, staff, and students under an agreement between NSIT and Wireless from AT&T (formerly Cingular Wireless). Departmental cell phones are billed to the department's FAS account. Staff and faculty receive a 15% plan discount and students a 2% plan discount plus 200 free text messages, with any NEW 1- or 2-year agreement.
What's Here
On these pages you will find guidelines for choosing a cellular phone or data device, choosing a rate plan, and choosing optional services. After you get all set up with a phone, you can come back here for information about changing rate plans, what to do if your phone is lost or stolen, and how to report network problems.
If this is the first cell phone you are ordering under the AT&T/University agreement, we suggest you start with the Get a Phone page to decide what features you want in a phone. Then, see Rate Plans to view the available plans and costs of cellular service. Finally, fill out and submit an Order Form.
