Cellular Device Safety

Cellular Phones

Phone Problems

Malfunctioning Phone

If your phone is malfunctioning and is over 30 days old, contact AT&T Business Customer Care at 800-331-0500. You may be asked for a password (NSIT).

If your phone is less than 30 days old, contact 2-9100 option 3.

Lost or Stolen Phone

Immediately report a lost or stolen phone to suspend your cellular service.

Business Phone

Report your missing phone

  1. Contact AT&T Business Customer Care at 800-331-0500.
  2. Call 2-9100 option 3 to notify NSIT. If it is after hours or the weekend, please leave a voicemail message stating the date and time you discovered your phone was missing. NSIT will credit your account from the time the you left the voicemail message.

To receive a replacement phone:

If you have purchased insurance ($5.74/month), a $50 deductible will be charged directly to your cellular phone number.

If you do not have insurance and your phone is over 1 year old, you will be charged the full price of a replacement phone.

NSIT will contact you when the replacement phone arrives. You have the option of picking it up at 1307 E. 60th Street (M-F 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) or arrangements can be made for delivery.

Personal Phone

Report your missing phone to AT&T at 800-999-5445 to suspend service.

NOTE: If you choose NOT to replace your phone and attempt to cancel services but still have time on your contract, you will be charged a $175.00 early termination fee.

Network Problems

If you have repeated cellular networking problems such as static, dropped calls, or other coverage issues, please complete the Report Network Problem form. Your request will be forwarded to AT&T for researching and you should receive a response from them in 7 to 10 days.
