Using Audio Files in Online Test Questions
If you plan to use an audio file as part of an online test question, it is best to keep the file small in size and make sure your audio file is in mp3 format. For more information on how to convert your audio files to mp3 file format, click here.
Create an Online Test using audio files:
- Navigate to your Chalk course site
- Control Panel
- Test Manager
- Add Test
- Name your test, then press submit
- You'll now be in the Test Canvas Window
- Before adding any questions, click on Creation Settings
- Option no. 2 references Images, Files and External Links
- Make sure to place a check next to "add to question"
- Click Submit at the bottom
- Back in the Test Canvas you are now ready to create questions
- Next to Add, use the Drop Down arrow and select your question type, such Multiple Choice, then press Go
- Type in your text question, then browse to your mp3 audio file
- Complete the Multiple Choice answers, then press Submit
- Continue the process until you've created all of your test questions
