Getting Started for Faculty
Instructors who would like to have a course site hosted on Chalk can simply log in to Chalk and complete the online Course Site Request Form under the Tools area of the Chalk home page. During the period between and at the start of quarters, it may take up to two business days to create a course site. Once the site is created, it may take as high as 36 hours for students to be added to a Chalk site. To get ahead of the beginning-of-the-quarter rush, Chalk sites can be requested in advance. If the Registrar's Office has a record of the course offering, a Chalk site can be created for it - even several months in advance.
