Getting Started for Students

Students needing access to Chalk can simply log in and use the system. If your instructor has a Chalk site and you are enrolled in that course, the site should appear in the My Courses section of your Chalk home page. If you do not see the course listed, one of three things may apply to you:
  1. The instructor does not have a Chalk site, in which case it will not be listed.
  2. Your course enrollment status has not been transferred from the Registrar to Chalk. Changes in enrollment status may take up to 36 hours to process. If you frequently drop and add courses during registration, expect delays in gaining access to Chalk materials.
  3. You are not formally enrolled in the course.
