Connectivity Software

NSIT makes available a variety of network applications pre-configured for use with University services, including clients for web browsing, email, and instant messaging. We have developed these software packages to make data networking convenient and trouble-free for even novice users.

The software distributed here is installed on all NSIT-supported desktop computers across campus and can also be installed on desktop computers that are supported by other University IT staff. NSIT also recommends this software to those users who want network access but must configure and maintain their own machines. All software and installers are thoroughly tested on these recommended platforms: Windows XP SP2, Windows Vista, Mac OS X 10.4, and Mac OS X 10.5.
