Software Site Licensing

Obtaining Microsoft Campus Agreement Software

The software installation media is being made available in two forms through the NSIT Solution Center:

  • Departmental CDs for sale at the NSIT Solution Center (Buysite/DP62 only)
    • Office 2007 Enterprise for Windows (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher & Word)
    • Office 2004 for Mac OS X (Entourage, Excel, PowerPoint & Word)
    • Sharepoint Designer 2007
    • Virtual PC 7 for Mac OS X (i.e. Disk 2 of Office 2004 Professional)
    • Windows Vista Enterprise Upgrade (32-bit only)
    • Visual Studio .NET 2005 Professional for Windows (Visual Basic .NET, Visual C# .NET & Visual C++ .NET)
    • Office 2003 Professional Edition (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint & Word)
    • Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 2 (Upgrade ONLY)
  • Student CDs for sale at the NSIT Solution Center (limit ONE CD per version, per student - no returns or exchanges are allowed) - please have completed Student Acceptance Form ready
    • Office 2007 Enterprise Edition (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher & Word)*
    • Office 2008 for Mac OS X (Entourage, Excel, PowerPoint & Word)
    • Office 2004 for Mac OS X Professional (Entourage, Excel, PowerPoint, Word & Virtual PC)
    • Sharepoint Designer 2007*
    • Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 2 (Upgrade ONLY)*
    • Windows Vista Ultimate Upgrade (32-bit only)*
    • Visual Studio .NET 2003 Professional for Windows (Visual Basic .NET, Visual C# .NET & Visual C++ .NET)

The above two methods are the only current OFFICIAL mechanisms to obtain the software covered by this agreement. Installing the software through any other mechanism may result in University disciplinary proceedings or legal action.

*After 50 launches (for Office 2003 & Windows XP) or within 30-days (for Office 2007 and Vista Ultimate), activation of the software with Microsoft will be required to continue use of the Student Office CD installed software. In accordance with the Microsoft End-User License Agreement, student users may install a copy of the Office software on a single computer, then install a second copy for their exclusive use on a portable computer. Windows Operating Systems can only be installed on one computer (secondary use is not permitted by the Use Terms). The Student CDs are being offered "while supplies last" on a quarterly basis.)
