Campus Modem Pool

The University offers free access to the Campus Modem pool, which allows up to 56k access speed to access the University network. Users log in from off campus using their CNetID for authentication.

Our modem hardware supports both the v.90 and k56flex 56Kbps modem standards. However, we can not support the X2 56Kbps standard.

The modem pool automatically disconnects sessions after three hours of continuous use. We have a policy of maximum usage at six hours per day per user.
