One-Number
The One-Number service allows you the flexibility of working away from the office by making it easy to answer your University phone calls from anywhere you are - from your cellphone, from home, or from an alternate office you use on particular days. Calls to your University number may be received simultaneously on your office phone and up to two remote phones. You must have a line on an University phone to have this feature.
You can create a list of phones which you may enable or disable through either a web-interface or a telephone keypad as you move from place-to-place. Each of the active remote phones has many of the features of the university telephone system such as hold, transfer, and call park. Moreover, you can configure One-Number to automatically control which remote phones will ring by the time of day.
With One-Number, any call not picked up by your remote devices will be routed to your University Voicemail. Icing the cake, you can opt at no additional charge when setting up One-Number, to consolidate your voicemail by routing your cellphone's unanswered calls to your University voicemail.
