Phone Group Announcement
Traditional over-head paging requires speakers in the ceiling, cabling back to a central point connecting the over-head page equipment to the telephone system. Phone Group Announcement (PGA) is similar to over-head paging, but there are no special speakers in the ceiling, no extra cabling, and no central over-head paging equipment; everything is now provided through the University's phone system. The only items required are ITE-digital speaker phones and a special telephone number.
