USITE

Digital Media Labs

In Summer 2005, the process of combining the resources of the Digital Media Laboratory in the Regenstein Library and the USITE Crerar Digital Media Wall began. The new NSIT Digital Media Laboratories will provide digital media technology and related expertise to all faculty, students, and staff at locations across campus. Each Digital Media Laboratory will have Macintosh-based digital video editing systems, high-resolution flatbed reflective and transparency scanners, CD and DVD authoring tools, and color printing facilities. Over time, additional capabilities and locations will be added to make digital media accessible to all members of the campus community.

The USITE Crerar Digital Media Wall is open to all students and faculty during USITE hours. The Digital Media Laboratory in the Regenstein Library is available for use on academic projects; if you would like to make an appointment, please contact digitalmedia@uchicago.edu.
