Voicemail Help - Mailbox Main Menu
This page describes the basic menu and message playing options. For more details about menus and options, see our Voicemail Feature Guide (PDF).
Main mailbox functions
Each time you access your mailbox, the assistant will tell you how many new and saved messages you have. You will be asked to then select from the following options:
[1] To review new message
[2] To record a new message
[3] To review other messages
[4] To change personal options
[*] To exit the mailbox, hang up
[0] To return to the beginning of the attendant message
Above we showed you the available options from the voicemail main menu. The rest of the Voicemail Help section will explain more detailed use of subsequent functions.
Message playing options
All messages come with a date and time stamp. Upon access to your mailbox, voicemail will then prompt you to enter:
[1] To play new messages
[3] To review other messages
While playing a message, you can press:
[1] To skip back one message
[3] To skip forward one message
[4] To decrease volume
[6] To increase volume
[7] To delete the message
[8] For envelope information
[9] To save the message
[11] To replay the message
[33] To end the message
[#] To skip the message
[*] To pause the message
While a message is paused, you can press:
[1] To slow down the speed of the message playback
[2] To return to normal playback speed
[3] To increase the speed of the message playback
[4] To reply to the message
[5] To call the sender of the message
[6] To forward the message
[7] To delete the message
[8] For envelope information
[9] To save the message
[#] To skip the message
[*] To resume listening to the message
After listening to a message, you can press:
[2] To print the message as a fax
[4] To reply to the message
[5] To call the sender
[6] To forward the message
[7] To delete the message
[8] For envelope information
[9] To save the message
[11] To replay the message
[#] To skip the message
[*] To return to the previous menu
Transfer to another mailbox
To transfer to another mailbox, press [7] from the main menu. Then type your 5-digit mailbox number. [#], your password, and then [#]. To cancel the transfer, press [*].
